As a writer and a poet, I believe it's as important to find the right story as it is to find the right words to tell it.

I especially enjoy writing about people, their lives, the choices they make, and what makes them unique individuals. I've written about poets, adoptive parents, musicians, artists, square dancers, and even a 92 year old Girl Scout.

My articles have appeared in a variety of regional and national publications including The Caregiver's Home Companion, The Middlesex Beat, Family Tree magazine, and Prime Time.

Right now, I'm working on a poetry/art creation to be included in "ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS: A Mixed Media Approach to Loving Poetry." The exhibit will be on display at the ALL Gallery in Lowell, MA through October 2009 and will be one of the many events offered during the Massachusetts Poetry Festival 2009.

Thanks for visiting my site. While you're here, check out my clips and links. And if you are inclined, drop me a note!

"Paula McCarron has quickly become one of my "go-to" writers for The Caregiver's Home Companion. She joins a very tight knit corps of freelancers I use on a regular basis. Why? Because she is always eager to write, understands the article concepts, and produces well-researched and vividly written copy on time. What more can an editor want?"
